Privacy policy

We are pleased about your interest in our company. We take the privacy of your personal data very seriously and want you to feel at home and secure when you visit our website. We would therefore like to take this opportunity to explain how we protect your privacy when you share your personal data with us. Please read the privacy policy below with care. Online applications are only possible if you agree to the privacy policy on the logon page and to the collection, use, and processing of your personal data.

General info / Basics

The person-specific data provided to us within the scope of your application will be treated confidentially and collected, processed, and used in compliance with the “Bundesdatenschutzgesetz” (the German Data Protection Act). Your personal data will be used only within the Papierfabrik Louisenthal GmbH and not passed on to third parties. Only the staff in the Human Resources department will have access to your data and it will then be given only to the representatives of the division involved in selecting an applicant to fill the posted vacancy. The data is transmitted in encrypted form (SSL encryption). The processing of your data is on servers in our datacenter at Giesecke & Devrient.

Storing / Deleting your data

Your data will be stored in our database for 3 years after your last logon. In order to delete your data, you must log on and explicitly delete your data by means of deregistration. You can access the “Delete data” function via your personal start page. But please note that your details will be irrevocably deleted. You will have to re-enter all of the information to register or apply again. So please make sure that you actually want to completely delete your data as opposed to leaving your data in the system and just blocking your profile or revoking your application.

Applying for an advertised vacancy

If you apply for an advertised position, your personal data will be processed for the purpose of completing the application procedure and filling the position. During the online application process, you will be prompted for data that is absolutely necessary for the application. Mandatory fields requiring such entries are flagged with *. Moreover, you can add further information on a voluntary basis as well as include application documents as attachments.

Revoking your application

You can revoke your application at any time. Then your application will no longer be considered during the application process for the advertised position. If you revoke your application, the data of your personal profile will remain stored in the system, and will be available if you choose make another application at a later point in time. If you do not want this option, then you must explicitly delete your data by means of deregistration.

Releasing your profile

Taking part in our pool of applicant data is voluntary. You can apply for an actual position and, if you choose, also release your profile and application documents for future job offers.

If you release your profile at the end of the application process, you may also be checked in terms of suitability for other positions. As a result, your profile will remain available to the staff in Human Resources no matter whether you apply or whether your application is turned down. This way, it will be possible to send you an e-mail, informing you about potentially suitable job offers. Your data will not be forwarded to the representatives of the division involved in filling the position until you have actually applied for the advertised vacancy.

You can change, block, re-release, or completely delete your profile by means of deregistration using your password-protected access at any time.


When you first register, your personal access data (user name and password) are sent to the e-mail address you specify. You can log on with your user name and password and view, change, or delete your data at any time. When you log on for the first time, you have to replace the assigned password with a new personal one that you can choose yourself. You can change your password and user name or request a new password at any time later on.

In order to prevent misuse, you must keep your password secret. If you have any reason to suspect that unauthorized third parties have found out what your password is, you must change it immediately.
