Principles of our compliance management

Rules and values are like a compass that helps us to stay on course. Following shared values and principles helps achieve success in the direction you desire. Compliance is therefore an essential principle for both the company’s reputation and customer confidence. It is not simply a question of complying with legislation and internal guidelines – we must also act in a manner that conforms with our values.

We expect all our employees to conduct themselves in accordance with the rules. We have a “zero tolerance” policy: breaches of the law are not tolerated and are punished accordingly.

As a subsidiary of Giesecke & Devrient, we are integrated in all the Group’s compliance processes. To ensure that every employee knows all of our compliance requirements and behaves appropriately, Giesecke & Devrient has established a compliance management system with a Compliance Office and implemented a help line and a company-wide training program. This enables all employees to complete their work and tasks in accordance with the law and our internal guidelines.

The Code of Conduct of G&D

The Code of Conduct reflects our corporate values as a high-level framework. It presents a framework that applies to all of us at Louisenthal: at every location, in every business unit, to all our business partners, and in our day-to-day dealings with one another. The Code of Conduct is the pillar on which our Group-wide principles are based, encompassing the following areas:

  • Exclusion of child labor and forced labor
  • Safeguarding data security and self-determination for information
